Name of the charity: Children’s Sunshine Home & LauraLynn House

Type of work: We support children with life limiting conditions and their families by providing high quality transitional care, home support, respite, crisis and end-of-life care.  Our services are available to children with high medical and nursing needs from birth to 18.

Current Projects: We are currently building Ireland’s first Children’s Hospice LauraLynn House

What a donation of €2,000 could achieve for you?: With €2,000 we could purchase equipment for the children’s “music room” in our new hospice.  This would include bongo drums, cymbals, boomwhackers & a music set.

What a donation of €5,000 could achieve for you?: With €5,000 we could purchase sensorial equipment for one our playrooms in LauraLynn House.  This equipment provides a variety of sensory experiences for relaxation, therapy, learning and fun for children with special needs. 

Why should our teams choose you?: We are an Irish charity and we look after chronically ill children. We are a small charity doing big things, we don’t have a huge profile or celebrity endorsers. We don’t spend money on advertising or promotion.  We just want to make a difference to the lives of these children & their families by providing options.
