‘InterSevens Concern For Haiti 2011’ CANCELLED

Launched on the 7th February 2010, this tournament launched a range of soccer marathons that will occur every two months for three tournaments, and then be run annually as a tournament in aid of the Haitian people and the earthquake victims.  
We have managed to generate in excess of €85,000 over 2 soccer marathons last year.  Each team played for a trip for 10 to a Premiership match, football gear, FAI kit and more.    On the final day, Giovanni Trapattoni came to see the final and present the winners with the Gardy Latortue memorial Trophy, which is named after a Haitian colleague of some of the Concern Worldwide team, who tragically died in the earthquake.  

Although a tough trial for soccer players, this event is thoroughly enjoyable.

€100 per man based on squad of 10. (€1,000)
You can raise funds on provided sponsor cards

What do we win?    The winning team will present circa €20,000 to a Concern Worldwide Haitian Men’s programme of their choice and the players will receive a trip for 10 to a Premiership match, with transport, hotel and match tickets included.
